Here are two bows I made for my Grand Sons, Andy 6 and Chris 3

These are made from lumberyard maple boards and backed with a very thin layer of rawhide.

Both shoot nicely although they have gotten out of tiller with shooting.  The larger bow can be ret-tillered but the small one is such a light draw weight that it is just about out of wood!
